The nostatic quintet is a jazz ensemble with core members Gary Mendell (keys) and Todd Richmond (bass). A rotating roster of soloists, vocalists, and rhythm section players come together to crank out a nostatic mix of jazz, funk, and soul. The lineup can vary from trio to octet and beyond, with a variety of vocal styles or straight instrumental. From jazz standards to funky soul to tv themes to pop tunes with a nostatic twist – serious music with a sense of humor.
