Tuesday February 21st, Skinny’s Lounge is proud to welcome two of our favorite bands to our stage, Oh Joy! and Shawna Flowers & The Weeds! Tickets are $5, 21+ with ID, and music starts at 9pm.
Opening the show is LA Newcomer Shawna Flowers & The Weeds. Shawna’s Chicago roots shine through in her quirky, melodic vocals and violin playing…and is an organic blend of folk, funk, rock, roots and country sounds. Her band The Weeds is comprised of homegrown LA talents, and provide great grooves for Shawna to soar on top!
Headliners Oh Joy are both timeless and modern sounding, with an amazing blend of acoustic instruments, electric instruments, a female saw player, and female and male lead vocals. Countryesque, but with some very powerful hooks and grooves!
