Join us for an amazing program of classic organ jazz/funk/soul/covers trio, The Harlan Spector Organ Trio featuring Don Peake (Wrecking Crew, Ray Charles) on guitar . Classically trained organist and pianist Harlan Spector is a master of the Hammond B3 — a jazzy/bluesy sounding electric organ linked with legendary jazz keyboardists Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff as well as rock icons Steve Winwood and Keith Emerson. Tickets are $5 and show is 7pm-10pm

Over the past twenty years, Spector has worked with numerous recording artists including Buddy Miles, Elvin Bishop, Redbone, Buffalo Springfield, Guitar Shorty, Skip Heller, Ian Hersey and toured with a national production of Jesus Christ superstar featuring original lead, Ted Neeley.

Don Peake is a multi-talented musician who has worked as a guitarist, arranger, record producer, and film music composer. Peake toured as lead guitarist with the Everly Brothers at the age of 21, and played for many of the legendary performers under Phil Spector’s Wrecking Crew production including The Righteous Brothers – “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling”, Ike and Tina Turner – ” River Deep Mountain High”, as well as recording with Ray Charles, Mahalia Jackson, Billy Preston, Cannonball Adderly, Marvin Gaye, and Diana Ross.

Drummer Jack Cook has performed live with a wide range of artists including Freeflight, La Toya Jackson, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters, The Commodores, The Pointer Sisters, and The Isley Brothers.
