I had the honor of shooting 20 girls in 45 days all on my trusty iPhone. The photos were all taken with the #hipstamatic App (I’m obsessed with it!) & video shot with the iPhone video & the very cool #8mm App. This is a celebration of not only the girls external beauty; but more importantly their inside beauty. “Rob Spence is a local, up and coming R&B vocalist. His influences are Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Philip Bailey, and Smokey Robinson. He has studied under Seth Riggs protégée, Brett Manning, and is currently being groomed by Tanisha Hall, A&R rep for Chaka Kahn’s Earthsong label (Interscope.) Rob also has a strong background in dance, and incorporates an exciting choreographed routines into his performances.
Michael Coso has been performing stand up comedy for several years. Mostly performing at private events. Recently, he has been performing on stage in San Diego, California and has future performances scheduled in Orange County. What got him started doing stand up comedy was one he always enjoyed what other comics have done and two, being asked to speak to audiences on occasion where they enjoyed his brand of humor.
Rob and Michael have known each other for 6 six years but just recently put together ‘The Lighter Side of Dark / The Darker Side of Light Music and Comedy Experience’. It is a unique blend of music and off color humor guaranteed to make audiences enjoy themselves. Come experience the show yourself……………you’ll be glad you came!

Toy Soldiers Unite (TSU) was started in 2006 by Sgt. Kato (or “Kato” of Steampunk Couture fame) as an online community for the fans of musician Dr. Steel. Since the retirement of Dr. Steel in early 2011, TSU has still maintained and continues to thrive as an online community where strangers become friends, family, and in some cases, lifelong partners. The mission of TSU is to encourage happiness, fun, creativity and imaginative thinking in ourselves and the general masses, and not to take over the world, but to MAKE over the world into a Utopian Playland.
“The Kitchen Sink” is a review that is entirely produced and performed by members of this community. The mission of this show is to showcase the creativity and imaginative thinking that TSU strives for. It includes burlesque routines, magic acts, song, and dance. The show will begin at 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at Skinny’s Lounge in North Hollywood.
Admission is $10 at the door, and we kindly ask that all attendees be 21 years of age or older.
